Masks Required on Public Transit

OCTOBER 15, 2020 -- As COVID-19 cases increase in our city, Regina Transit is reminding all passengers to continue to wear masks on public transit. Starting on October 19, 2020, Regina Transit will be denying service to elementary and high school students who do not wear a mask or alternative face coverings while boarding and riding the bus.

Strategy to Reduce Virus Spread

August 28, 2020 -- Regina Public Schools is implementing a three-part strategy to reduce the risk of COVID-19, as well as other viruses, including colds and flu, as students return to school and the colder fall and winter weather sets in. The strategy focuses on face masks, cleaning and increased, filtered ventilation.

Safe Schools Plan Parent Package

August 27, 2020 -- The Saskatchewan Ministries of Health and Education have worked together to create a comprehensive parent package to help families prepare for the beginning of school on September 8, 2020.

The package includes

    - Information on the Safe Schools Plan

    - General tips for parents and caregivers

    - Mask information wearing for children

    - Information on testing options and process

    - Information on COVID-19 notification and illness in school

    - Information on the threshold for changes to in-classroom learning
